We strive to responsibly source agricultural ingredients, such as coffee, cocoa, apples and corn, as well as Keurig brewer components from communities and ecosystems around the world. We also work to improve livelihoods and take steps to help support nature through innovative projects that touch key parts of our value chain.
Responsible Sourcing
We are committed to responsibly sourcing our brewers and priority inputs, including coffee, cocoa, corn, apples and apple juice concentrate. Priority status is determined by the input’s importance to KDP, measured by magnitude of spending, the social and environmental risk profile of the input and our unique opportunity for impact within the supply chain. For coffee and cocoa, we rely on third-party certification and verification programs to help foster fundamental social, environmental and economic protections.
Nature
We work to do our part to protect, support and manage nature through regenerative agriculture and conservation investments that fund critical projects in the regions where our key ingredients – coffee, corn and apple – are grown. Smart agriculture practices can offer many benefits, including the potential for increased biodiversity of native species, improved soil health, habitat protection, enhanced watersheds and supply chain stability.
Livehoods
We promote farmer and farmworker prosperity through targeted projects that support the economic resilience of farmers and workers in areas of our supply chain. Economic opportunities empower farmers to contribute to sustainability challenges like biodiversity, climate change, water stewardship and community well-being.
