Supplier Code of Conduct
Keurig Dr Pepper is committed to high standards of social and environmental responsibility and ethical conduct. We have created this Code as an extension of our own Corporate Code of Conduct to form the cornerstone of our commitment to responsibly source our products. This Code defines the universal standards that we require our suppliers to adhere to when conducting business with KDP. The requirements laid out in the Code are based on internationally recognized standards, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the UN Global Compact Principles and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Rights and Principles at Work.

Conflict Minerals
We are committed to sourcing products, components and materials from companies that share our values regarding respect for human rights, ethics and environmental responsibility. To that end, we are committed to the ethical sourcing of minerals including tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG).
There is concern that 3TG, often referred to as “conflict minerals,” could originate from certain mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo which are controlled by armed militias who use the proceeds from the sale of these minerals to fund ongoing conflict in the region. As a result, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted final rules to implement reporting and disclosure requirements related to conflict minerals, as directed by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 (the “Rule”).
Keurig Dr Pepper is a new public company from the combination of Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. (Keurig) and Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (DPSG). Research conducted by DPSG concludes that there is no use of conflict minerals at DPSG which required reporting in prior years. As a private company, Keurig voluntarily prepared reports using the Rule as guidance.

Coffee Supply Chain Sustainability Investments
At Keurig Dr Pepper, we’re committed to truly great coffee that promotes the greater good – so growers can live better lives, farmlands can prosper, and coffee can thrive for generations to come. We address key social and environmental issues in the supply chain through responsible sourcing strategies, collaboration, and targeted investments to achieve impact.
Our coffee supply chain sustainability investments advance our 2020 target to engage 1 million people – coffee farmers, workers, and their families and communities – to improve their lives. Our programming supports:
- Improving Farming Techniques: We promote integrated agricultural extension services that build farmer capacity to sustainably increase yields and quality of their anchor crop (i.e., coffee), while also encouraging income diversification, strengthening their resilience to external shocks and food scarcity.
- Addressing local water issues and planning for changes in climate: We increase access to potable water for supply chain communities and improve water management for productive use in watersheds where we source. We promote climate- and water-smart production practices and the optimal use of resources to protect ecosystems and improve producer’s ability to adapt to climate change.
- Strengthening farmer organizations: We build the capacity of farmer organizations to provide value-added services to farmers, including access to credit, agronomic assistance, inputs, quality assurance, and differentiated market channels.
We also support gender and generational inclusion as a cross-cutting theme, by creating preferential opportunities for women and next generation farmers in our supply chain programming.
Keurig Dr Pepper requires all grant recipients to report on the expenditure of grant funds and progress of the project. Reporting expectations and requirements are outlined in the Keurig Dr Pepper’s Monitoring & Evaluation Guide, which can be downloaded below. The primary objective of the guide is to facilitate more standardized reporting of progress, impacts, changes and/or needs of funded projects.
Keurig Dr Pepper’s grant application process is by invitation only. We do not accept unsolicited proposals.
