Van Houtte Coffee Services Brings Comfort to Families Nationwide

A $270,000+ national commitment will enhance coffee service for families staying with Ronald McDonald House® across Canada

Montréal, QC – August 20, 2026 – Van Houtte Coffee Services (VHCS) is bringing a sense of warmth and familiarity into Ronald McDonald House programs nationwide.

Across 16 Houses and 21 in-hospital Family Rooms in Canada, Ronald McDonald House surrounds families with critically sick and injured children with essential support, including accommodation, meals, mental health support and more. As the #1 commercial coffee service provider in Canada, VHCS will equip these spaces with Keurig® brewers and integrated K-Cup® pod coffee stations, providing families with the comfort of an everyday ritual, and a moment of pause during an unimaginable time.

“When a family stays with Ronald McDonald House, they are navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives,” said Leslie Hederson, Director of National Partnerships & Philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Canada. “During their stay, whether in a House or hospital Family Room, something as simple as a warm cup of coffee can offer a moment of comfort, familiarity, and respite. We are deeply grateful to welcome Van Houtte Coffee Services as a National Mission Partner, helping make more of those moments possible for families when they need them most.”

Built as a phased approach, the first rollout will include equipping and servicing family spaces across Canada, bringing the total 2026 commitment at the national level to over $270,000 in support of Ronald McDonald House. This initiative is further supported by McCafé At-Home, part of Keurig Dr Pepper Canada, through national marketing programs and financial contributions that help extend its reach to Canadians.

“At Van Houtte Coffee Services, care and connection are at the heart of how we operate. Supporting a cause that stands by parents and children during some of their most challenging moments is a natural fit for us,” said Chris McMahon, General Manager at Van Houtte Coffee Services. “It also reflects the work we do every day across the hospitality network, bringing our expertise into a setting where it can have a meaningful impact, alongside support from Keurig Dr Pepper helping extend the reach of this initiative nationally.”

Beyond equipment installation, VHCS will provide ongoing service support, product supply, and K-Cycle® recycling solutions, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience across all participating House and Family Room programs.

As part of this expanded collaboration, VHCS will become a National Mission Partner of Ronald McDonald House and will support the charity as its official cause for 2026.

This initiative will be further amplified through integrated communications, employee engagement programs, and national marketing platforms, reinforcing both organizations’ shared commitment to supporting families across Canada.

This initiative is made possible through the combined efforts of Van Houtte Coffee Services and McCafé At-Home, part of Keurig Dr Pepper.
