Keurig Dr Pepper Canada Wins Canadian Grocer Magazine’s 2026 Impact Award for Community Impact

For Keurig Dr Pepper Canada (KDP Canada), community engagement is more than a commitment to giving back. It is a way to bring its values, resources and expertise together in service of the communities it calls home. Over the past several years, this vision has shaped the evolution of KDP Canada’s community investment and engagement strategy, moving from one-time donations to a more focused, measurable approach grounded in its purpose, Drink Well. Do Good. That work is now being celebrated by Canadian Grocer magazine, which has recognized KDP Canada with a 2026 Impact Award in the “Community Service, Local Impact and Community Engagement” category.

For the past six years, the Impact Awards have spotlighted retailers and consumer goods companies that are using their influence and resources to help strengthen the communities they serve. So, what earned KDP Canada a place among this year’s honourees? Here are a few highlights from a journey that continues to grow year after year.

From a desire to help to a strategy for greater impact

In 2022, KDP Canada revisited its community investment and engagement strategy with a clear ambition: create more meaningful and measurable impact. Food insecurity quickly emerged as a natural area of action, aligned with the company’s resources, brands and national footprint.

That commitment took shape through a partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, designed to fight hunger and support community resilience efforts across the country. Over the past three years, KDP Canada has directed more than $732,275 to this cause, exceeding its initial commitment by 46% and helping scale programs that deliver practical support where it is needed most.

Building a food security impact network

Beyond its national partnership, KDP Canada also supports communities through an in-kind donation program. Each year, the company provides nearly $800,000 worth of coffee, coffee makers and beverages to partners such as Moisson Montréal and Food Banks Mississauga, which distribute these products to community organizations across their regions. By helping offset everyday operating costs, it allows nonprofits organizations to direct more of their resources toward their missions, while providing coffee and beverages for the employees, volunteers and beneficiaries.

Engaging employees in the movement

KDP Canada employees are equally invested in giving back, dedicating their time and talents to nonprofit organizations making a difference every day. In 2024 and 2025 alone, employees contributed more than 4,000 volunteer hours through approximately 20 causes nationwide, bringing Drink Well. Do Good. beyond words and demonstrating what can happen when purpose becomes action.
